If you've got something that you need to say,
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
It's moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound...
As we go on, we remember
All the times we've spent together
As our lives change, come whatever
We will still be friends forever
- Vitamin C -- Graduation
As I complete my final year of school I am left with the sentiments that I presume many graduates hold: what now? Where does my life go from here?
Caught in the cross roads and living life to the fullest every day.
Next posts will have spring trend updates! I am seeing PINK everywhere in every shade it makes me so happy.
The new Jacob L'Atelier line features Audrey-Hepburn inspired styles in materials like silk and chiffron. Perfect for any spring or summer occasion including weddings and outdoor events, these dresses are absolutely stunning and a definite step up for Canada's Jacob. I got a chance to pop in the Eaton Centre and check out some of the designs in person.
My two favourite designs on the mannequins!
To see more check out www.jacob.ca.
Just a few photos from a night out with my girls Jyl and Ashley...

In search of sunrise
Oh, sometimes, I get a good feeling...
I get a feeling that I never, never, never
Never had before, no, no...
And I just wanna tell you right now
That I believe, I really do believe that
Something's got a hold on me...
Oh, it must be love

I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck
I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you're looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I've ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
'Cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you ...
-- HELLO - LIONEL RICHIE
I have the day off so I am hanging out here at home and I plan on going out tonight to have some fun. I have a pretty relaxed work weekend aside from the Statistics assignment I have no idea how to even begin. I have a collection of photographs I took during the last few weeks to share with you guys.
This photo is from a media networking event we held at my school for my Events Management class! It was quite a success. The theme was based on the Lionel Richie song and was called "Hello, Is It Me You're Looking For?" We had professionals in all of the streams in my program: journalism, public relations, image arts, and digital communications. My good friend Nikki Jumper from Nikki Jumper Photography was there and she touched the lives of many aspiring photographers. My other good friend Adnan from Adnan Media was there as well, he is one of the best marketing and promotions agents Toronto has ever seen. He is deeply involved in the Club and Entertainment scene and has a database of 6000+. One of the guest speakers I highly admired was Deb Weinstein from Strategic Objectives who has a fascinating career in public relations, television, and other media.
Listening to a public relations guest speaker...I call this my "learning" face. :)
First photo:
Scarf - Costa Blanca
Jacket - Zara
Flower hair clip - H&M
Second photo:
Sunglasses - Ralph Lauren
Silk scarf - Cynthia Rowley
Wool dress - Jacob
Necklace - Tiffany's
These were taken with my new Blackberry Torch where I spend a lot of time, in my Nissan driving to school. I took these before leaving my driveway at some ridiculously early time.
Time to share with you a few of the new items I have picked up lately.
I am dying to wear these BCBG ankle boots but I don't want to wreck them and the weather just is not co-operating with me yet.
I ordered these nude pumps from Beyond the Rack and I am proud to say that I am pleased with my FIRST EVER ONLINE PURCHASE. Actually I lied, I got a purse from ASOS a couple years ago but with shoes and clothes it is different because you actually have to gage your size and make the assumption that it is going to fit and be comfortable. But the verdict on the shoes is as follows:
SUCCESS! I LOVE THEM THE LEATHER IS PERFECT AND THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE AND ARE COMFORTABLE.
About a week after ordering these shoes I made a clothing order, I will be sure to put the verdict on those items up once they arrive too.
Once the weather gets a little nicer and there isn't so much mud everywhere I plan to actually wear these shoes and get some scenic outfits shot for you guys.
New leather handbag from random boutique with a name I cannot remember.
Corset tops from Guess!
New dress from Bebe. I love the colour and the fit. I will definitely be doing an outfit post with this dress.
Photos from my closet!
Thanks for reading :)
Hope you all are enjoying your spring so far!

Travel blog - Alberta
Your sweet moon beam,
The smell of you in
Every single dream I dream...
I knew when we collided,
You're the one I have decided
Is one of my kind
- HEY SOUL SISTA -- TRAIN
I love traveling even if it is within my own country. Canada has a beautiful variety of climates as well as culture, scenery, and nightlife. I feel like I need more rest and relaxation to make up for all the drinks and late nights I had in Alberta. I have a ton of pictures from my trip so I'm going to make this writing part short and sweet. I have until Thursday off work so I plan on doing a bunch of beauty and inspiration based posts. I was the most excited for Calgary but I only ended up there for one night because it was hailing; we didn't get to see the rodeo or do the club crawl. I visited with my dad which was awesome, but stayed mostly in Alberta's capital city of Edmonton. I brought mostly skirts shorts and sandals and was shocked when the weather dipped down to single digits. Back home in Toronto it is beach weather for sure! Although I miss my best friend Natalie and Alberta a lot. I did a little shopping but I will post the items later as well as my two new COACH purses! Without further adieu, photos from my trip.
My best friend! I was so happy to see her; she made me wear this dress because it was "retro" and the club we went to was called Vinyl and had a bit of a disco feel.
I didn't bring my Rebel inside the club but here is one photo taken with my phone of a porn star shooter.
The next morning we went to West Edmonton Mall which is actually the largest mall I've ever seen, you can barely get through one of four quadrants in a day. There are several water parks, a theme park, an amusement park, a skating rink, and a club. There is much more to see and do although I imagine there are several malls like this in the United States.
Getting ready!
Skirt: Zara
Necklace and earrings: Natalie's
Top: Jacob
Glasses: Gucci
Shoes: Spring
We went to Denny's for breakfast where we waited 45 minutes for food, it came to the table cold. I am a server so I hate complaining but I definitely was not going to eat it so we told the owner, left the server a tip and left and went to Starbucks where they serve a delicious breakfast sandwich all day and it always comes out piping hot in only a couple minutes. Mmmmmm!
Shopping at West Edmonton Mall. Natalie's bag is Louis Vuitton.
Natalie snapped this photo of me in the H&M which is coincidentally also where I got the bag I'm holding.
If you look carefully in one of the mirrors you can see someone tubing in the lazy river. Oh my.
Booster juice! I am not sure which countries have these smoothies but they are six dollars or so and basically constitute a fruit and yogurt meal plus powder with vitamins of your choice.
Natalie's uncle was having a birthday shindig one night I was there so we stopped by for an hour or so.
We did a lot of driving between Edmonton and Calgary so here are a couple scenic photos I took as well as some photos taken in her uncle's backyard.
Heels and pants: Zara
Sweater: BCBG
Pouch: Gucci
Here are a few more photos from the one night we went out in Calgary and another night in Edmonton.
Dress: Guess
Shoes: H&M
Aviators: Ray ban
Clutch: Steve Madden
Mmmm...Starbucks! Love Natalie's leggings as well.
Out for dinner at an Indian buffet which had private rooms with curtains! An awesome experience.
In Calgary, borrowed this cowboy hat from my daddy I found it in his truck!
Out for drinks with friends in Calgary! Had a great trip and can't wait to go back.
Stay tuned for more posts this week.

Outfit - Black and pink
Looking in your eyes,
While you're on the other side,
I can't take it no more baby I'm coming for you
You're doing it on purpose, wind it and work it
If we close our eyes it could just be me and you
I wanna make love in this club...
- LOVE IN THIS CLUB -- USHER
If there is one trick I use the most from the winter to summer season it is definitely blending my darker colours with lighter, brighter ones. About half my wardrobe is only black and grey, so I love adding a bright or pastel highlight to an outfit. Getting ready for work I realized I had a black "leather" skirt and a tube top on, and I threw on a light sheer scoopneck in pale pink to step away from looking like I am going to a funeral.
When I have more time this weekend I have a few exciting stories to share one of them involves getting slightly too intoxicated at my favourite club, the other is a surprise. Of course there will be more pictures! I feel an inspiration post coming on soon too. The weather is getting really nice here 30+ Celcius! Hope it is sunny and warm where you are as well.
