I'm going backwards through time at the speed of light
I'm yours, you're mine
Two satellites
Not alone
No, we're not alone
A freeze-frame of your eye in the strobelight
Sweat dripping down from your brow
Hold tight
Don't let go
Don't you let me go
And I never was smart with love
I let the bad ones in and the good ones go
But I'm gonna love you like I've never been hurt before
I'm gonna love you like I'm indestructible
Your love is ultra magnetic
Not again it's taking over
This is hardcore
And I'm indestructible
-- INDESTRUCTIBLE - ROBYN
School has started again and getting to my two classes is an absolute disaster. The school support staff is on strike and they are blocking the entrances to my school.
I am slowly transitioning from school to work. I am almost finished and can not wait to start my career. Here are some photos from the last week! Work and school, work and school.
Is that not what the fall is all about?
Goodbye summer, fairwell. See you soon <3
Some friends visiting at work! Gorgeous ladies. The long weekend was slow but I am looking forward to this weekend where everyone is back at school and ready to party!
What I do during the week. More blogging soon, I promise. My life has been hectic lately, I've had to take my laptop, my phone, and now my car in for repair.
Kisses!

Summertime adventures
These lies and deceptions
Only affecting us in a negative way, wrong direction
Starting to fade away our connection
Will we ever find a way to progress
And live life for each second
Without second guessin'
It is great to actually have a weekend and not dedicate it to just working!
The weather here was so gorgeous except that it can change in a second; you often end up wearing two outfits in one day or having to layer like crazy. It does not help my laundry pile.
Last night I went to a barbeque at my girlfriend's house, my brother came along with some of my close friends. This morning when I went for brunch with my girlfriend her car battery died, we got it boosted and then it died again. One trip to Canadian Tire and a lot of cash later she had a brand new battery and we headed back to my place. Once there she locked her keys in her car. It was actually quite a fun day aside from the mishaps! It was so beautiful outside I am starting to get a tan.
Without further ramblings I will show you some outfit pictures from the past days!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and having a great weekend.
My shoes are missing in the pictures but they are brown ankle combat-style open toe boots!

Electronic relaxation
I heard that your dreams came true,
Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light,
I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it
I had hoped you'd see my face
And that you'd be reminded that for me it isn't over
-ADELE -- SOMEONE LIKE YOU
I went out to a club last night with my girlfriend and something interesting happened; I found a CD just hanging around. It was house music and when I put it on in my car I fell in love. Now that is some brilliant PR, promotional material that captures someone's attention randomly and they become a fan for life. I thought I'd hype him on here because the songs were awesome if you like house or electronic music then this is definitely worth checking out.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I forget to brush my teeth before I go to sleep in fact I am almost 24 years old and I still don't have a cavity. I went to my girlfriend's house unprepared and I was taking care of her at the end of the night because she had a few too many drinks, needless to say I did not brush my teeth before I went to bed and I HATED it, so it inspired me to give you guys a few of the beauty tricks I use to stay fresh when I am partying or out all night. If you are going out:
1) BRING A TOOTHBRUSH. Enough said.
SOME MORE ESSENTIALS
1) BODY SHOP body butter - The original, and amazing. This one is coconut with shimmer and as far as I know it is the only scent available with a shimmer and I usually just use it when I go out to the club. It is available in a plethora of flavours and without shimmer if that's not your thing.
2) FAST shampoo - Available at Trade Secrets. Contains herbs and amino acids to make your hair grow super fast, since we kill our hair with the dryer and straightener and that damage can prevent your hair from growing at full speed.
3) CAKE satin sugar hair and body powder - This is an amazing alternative to baby powder in your hair when it is a little greasy or you've been dancing hard all night. Throw a little of this on your roots and your hair will look like you just washed it and smell fantastic. I personally don't recommend use on your body.
4) PERFUME SAMPLES - Any brand you like in a smaller form will be handy in your clutch when you go out for the night.
5) MAC Concealer pot and studio fix are AMAZING. Studio fix gets rid of shine where the cover up is amazing for under the eyes when you look tired.
And now some pictures from my night out! I got dressed for the day time then decided to go out last minute so my outfit is pretty plain - I would have definitely added some colour to my outfit, plus my sweaterdress ended up being super hot!

I'd rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck
I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams I've kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you're looking for?
I can see it in your eyes
I can see it in your smile
You're all I've ever wanted, (and) my arms are open wide
'Cause you know just what to say
And you know just what to do
And I want to tell you so much, I love you ...
-- HELLO - LIONEL RICHIE
I have the day off so I am hanging out here at home and I plan on going out tonight to have some fun. I have a pretty relaxed work weekend aside from the Statistics assignment I have no idea how to even begin. I have a collection of photographs I took during the last few weeks to share with you guys.
This photo is from a media networking event we held at my school for my Events Management class! It was quite a success. The theme was based on the Lionel Richie song and was called "Hello, Is It Me You're Looking For?" We had professionals in all of the streams in my program: journalism, public relations, image arts, and digital communications. My good friend Nikki Jumper from Nikki Jumper Photography was there and she touched the lives of many aspiring photographers. My other good friend Adnan from Adnan Media was there as well, he is one of the best marketing and promotions agents Toronto has ever seen. He is deeply involved in the Club and Entertainment scene and has a database of 6000+. One of the guest speakers I highly admired was Deb Weinstein from Strategic Objectives who has a fascinating career in public relations, television, and other media.
Listening to a public relations guest speaker...I call this my "learning" face. :)

These were taken with my new Blackberry Torch where I spend a lot of time, in my Nissan driving to school. I took these before leaving my driveway at some ridiculously early time.
Time to share with you a few of the new items I have picked up lately.
I am dying to wear these BCBG ankle boots but I don't want to wreck them and the weather just is not co-operating with me yet.
I ordered these nude pumps from Beyond the Rack and I am proud to say that I am pleased with my FIRST EVER ONLINE PURCHASE. Actually I lied, I got a purse from ASOS a couple years ago but with shoes and clothes it is different because you actually have to gage your size and make the assumption that it is going to fit and be comfortable. But the verdict on the shoes is as follows:
SUCCESS! I LOVE THEM THE LEATHER IS PERFECT AND THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE AND ARE COMFORTABLE.
About a week after ordering these shoes I made a clothing order, I will be sure to put the verdict on those items up once they arrive too.
Once the weather gets a little nicer and there isn't so much mud everywhere I plan to actually wear these shoes and get some scenic outfits shot for you guys.
New leather handbag from random boutique with a name I cannot remember.
Corset tops from Guess!
New dress from Bebe. I love the colour and the fit. I will definitely be doing an outfit post with this dress.
Photos from my closet!
Thanks for reading :)
Hope you all are enjoying your spring so far!

Plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose
Take me away, to a place I've never been before...
It is still freezing here in Toronto, I am really looking forward to some warmer weather and much needed relaxation. I am loving my courses mostly but there is a lot of group work which can be hard to organize. I am planning events, working on my resume and digital portfolio, and trying not to fail Statistics.
Last night I spent the evening at the taping of the BEING FRANK show, which is a Canadian late-night talk show and I got to sit in the front row.
The TV show I work for, Musically Yours, Deirdre Mallehe has a beautiful elegant host who was a guest on the show along with a retired NHL player and a star from a Canadian television series, Being Erica.
I took some pictures with my Rebel, but I can't post them yet since the show has yet to air, they will be up this weekend.
Just some pictures to share with you guys for today! And if you live in Canada make sure you check out Being Frank to see me in the audience this Friday. Check back this weekend for backstage photos. :) Hope the weather where you are is great and as always thanks for reading!
Me and Theo Fleury at hair and make up! He is such a nice guy with a touching story, pick up his book if you get a chance, Playing With Fire.
Getting ready in my bathroom and playing with my Rebel testing all the lighting. I am getting better with my camera!
Busy girl! Snapped this in my car before I left my house to go to the event. Sunglasses from Ralph Lauren.
My ten dollar purchase from Jacob. They are super soft and not itchy at all, and I love how they fit!
New shoes from BCBG! The leather is super soft and they are comfortable and of course gorgeous, excellent craftmanship!
Me on the set! I don't think I was supposed to get this picture taken but I love it so I am sharing it with you guys!
UPDATE **
Some more pictures from the show!!!
Theo Fleury and the host of Musically Yours, Deirdre Mallehe. For more information about the television show I am interning for, visit www.deirdremallehe.com.
It is so great to finally be working in the Media industry. I love bartending but I love PR more! Can not wait for more opportunities like this.
