September is such a busy month for me!  On the go all the time.

I am still managing to have some fun on top of my work and school.  My girlfriends and I never run out of new exciting things to do!

Time to get busy writing my thesis.  It is about fashion though so anything I find interesting during my studies I will share with you.  Stay tuned for fashion week highlights too!

I went to the beach yesterday with one of my besties which was super relaxing!  I work tonight and tomorrow night as a bottle service girl.  That is the one job in the service industry I have not tried yet so it's pretty exciting!  Since I have the whole week free I will be looking for a career job soon.  I am 24 now and basically old enough to get out of the service industry!  Hopefully this new club will be fun it is a social club with a mature crowd.  Tonight I am wearing a black dress with blood red stilettos!  Stay tuned for pictures and don't forget to check out my last post with trend updates, more soon!  

Jen and I had a great time in Wasaga.  We laid on the beach, walked around and I handed out some promo flyers for the club... a lot of people seem really interested!

It was great to come back from vacation to gorgeous sunny warm weather!  Unfortunately I did not make it to the beach this weekend but it probably would not have compared to the Dominican beaches anyway. I had a great time with family and friends: had some great meals out, shopping, parties, I went to so many different bars and had drinks with my girlfriends and all in all it was a great long weekend here in North America.  For Canadians it was Canada Day and of course July 4 is Independence Day in the U.S.A. and somehow it always seems to time out perfectly for a nice long weekend.  I hope yours was great too and here are a few pictures!

The glowstick around my wrist was a wristband for the club.  Check out the necklace my girlfriend is wearing, I bought it for her in the Dominican!

At the Blue Jays game with my dad!  It was my first time seeing it live and it was a lot of fun except that I was feeling pretty rough from being at so many different bars and clubs over the weekend.  My dad bought me the hat, super cute!  I went to The Keg for dinner and then saw Transformers 3 - I recommend it highly, lots of action but the 3D didn't really do anything special except give me a headache.  I am off to bed have a great week!

I have the day off so I am hanging out here at home and I plan on going out tonight to have some fun.  I have a pretty relaxed work weekend aside from the Statistics assignment I have no idea how to even begin.  I have a collection of photographs I took during the last few weeks to share with you guys.

This photo is from a media networking event we held at my school for my Events Management class! It was quite a success.  The theme was based on the Lionel Richie song and was called "Hello, Is It Me You're Looking For?"  We had professionals in all of the streams in my program: journalism, public relations, image arts, and digital communications.  My good friend Nikki Jumper from Nikki Jumper Photography was there and she touched the lives of many aspiring photographers.  My other good friend Adnan from Adnan Media was there as well, he is one of the best marketing and promotions agents Toronto has ever seen.  He is deeply involved in the Club and Entertainment scene and has a database of 6000+.  One of the guest speakers I highly admired was Deb Weinstein from Strategic Objectives who has a fascinating career in public relations, television, and other media.

Listening to a public relations guest speaker...I call this my "learning" face.  :)

These were taken with my new Blackberry Torch where I spend a lot of time, in my Nissan driving to school.  I took these before leaving my driveway at some ridiculously early time.


Time to share with you a few of the new items I have picked up lately.
I am dying to wear these BCBG ankle boots but I don't want to wreck them and the weather just is not co-operating with me yet.

I ordered these nude pumps from Beyond the Rack and I am proud to say that I am pleased with my FIRST EVER ONLINE PURCHASE.  Actually I lied, I got a purse from ASOS a couple years ago but with shoes and clothes it is different because you actually have to gage your size and make the assumption that it is going to fit and be comfortable.  But the verdict on the shoes is as follows:
SUCCESS!  I LOVE THEM THE LEATHER IS PERFECT AND THEY FIT TRUE TO SIZE AND ARE COMFORTABLE.
About a week after ordering these shoes I made a clothing order, I will be sure to put the verdict on those items up once they arrive too.


Once the weather gets a little nicer and there isn't so much mud everywhere I plan to actually wear these shoes and get some scenic outfits shot for you guys.
