Two outfits & some goodies :)

 I haven't been posting for a while because it has been really discouraging taking pictures with my cell phone or my Mac Photobooth.  I have been taking a few pictures here and there but I have some news...

I FINALLY GOT A NEW CAMERA!  The CANON REBEL is now mine as of yesterday.  This will be my LAST post with poor quality photos.

Tonight I am going to the Eagles and Dixie Chicks concert and I am still trying to decide if they will let me bring my camera into the ACC (Air Canada Centre in Toronto).  Hopefully I will have a few pictures from the concert taken with my new baby -- but if not I will at least post an outfit.

Here is a picture of my new camera as well as a couple outfits from the weekend and a few other things I picked up shopping.

Brand new camera not even out of the box.  If anyone has a suggestion for a good lens besides the one that comes stock please let me know!

New shoes in the civic.  It was nice to be chauffeured, I drive a lot and I worked tons of hours this weekend at work.  Sales were about three times what they normally are, it was insane for a live music fest!  I took a few photos while setting up.

2:30 p.m. half hour til the bar opens drinking an Iced White Mocha from Starbucks!

Necklace my dad picked up from a jewelry designer in Montreal, dress picked up from a thrift store but it happened to be from one of my favourite stores in Toronto.

Knee socks of course.  A peak at my Corona bottle opener.  I love how it's yellow and bright - never gets lost.

Jewelry close-up.  Too bad my kitten just knocked one of those earrings down the drain, I guess the single earring will have to join my shoe box full of other single earrings I have ended up with over the years.  Sigh.

The Chanel Cruise line combined with the nicer weather has inspired me to dress with a nautical influence.   I chose a dress I picked up at Mango a while back and paired it with a cardigan, some knee high socks (of course) and some comfortable, lower white heels.  Just a quick post; heading to work!

 

In my bedroom!  I hate the carpet so much but my mom insists we keep it.  Sigh!

Bathroom!  Sitting on the floor was basically the only way to get a full outfit shot with my Macbook!

Outfit - Boring work days

I bartend all weekend which is pretty exciting but sometimes I pick up day shifts which basically means I stand around and serve the occasional customer and watch the band set up for the evening etc.
I got kind of bored and took a few pictures!

 This is me in the bathroom, where I hide out occasionally to avoid conversations with annoying customers.  Taken during my daytime shift on Friday :)

These last two are taken behind the bar.  The flash makes me look like a ghost!  I am definitely pale, but avoiding the sun over the years has made my skin look pretty healthy.  I see girls who fake and baked all through high school and their skin looks like orange leather and they definitely have premature wrinkles!

My bottles!  What drinks are your favourites?  I love making Killer Koolaids they taste like a Jolly Rancher!  Amaretto, melon liqueur, and cranberry juice!

Maybe I should have been Windexing the mirror instead of taking pictures!  I see splotches everywhere ;)

Outfit - Blonde-tenders have more fun!

I'm just on my way to work, my bar used to only open on weekends but now we have 29 cent wings on Wednesdays.  I threw on a quick outfit - I don't usually wear white to work, especially when serving wings, but I thought I'd give it a try and threw on a really old white tank top.  I'm inspired by the Chanel fall runway 2010 so I thought I'd bring out a pair of my old fuzzy grey boots to match the simple, jersey cotton skirt.  The socks were super cheap and add a sporty feel, fresh off the spring 2010 runway.  As you can probably tell by now I love gray, black, and white, and KNEE SOCKS!
Sorry about the poor quality pictures, I am on my way to getting a Cannon Rebel as soon as I stack enough cash at the bar!  I'm averaging 30 hours a week lately so that shouldn't be too long at all.

I love bartending!  You get to be at the center of all the fun and make great money, and if you annoy a bartender she can end your fun pretty quickly!  Wish me luck at WING NIGHT TONIGHT!!!  Please don't mind the big hair, I was having a shower and the hot water turned off so I didn't get to use conditioner.  I didn't even bother going at my hair with the straightener!
