I went out to a club last night with my girlfriend and something interesting happened; I found a CD just hanging around.  It was house music and when I put it on in my car I fell in love.  Now that is some brilliant PR, promotional material that captures someone's attention randomly and they become a fan for life.  I thought I'd hype him on here because the songs were awesome if you like house or electronic music then this is definitely worth checking out.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when I forget to brush my teeth before I go to sleep in fact I am almost 24 years old and I still don't have a cavity.  I went to my girlfriend's house unprepared and I was taking care of her at the end of the night because she had a few too many drinks, needless to say I did not brush my teeth before I went to bed and I HATED it, so it inspired me to give you guys a few of the beauty tricks I use to stay fresh when I am partying or out all night.  If you are going out:

1)  BRING A TOOTHBRUSH.  Enough said.


SOME MORE ESSENTIALS

1)  BODY SHOP body butter - The original, and amazing.  This one is coconut with shimmer and as far as I know it is the only scent available with a shimmer and I usually just use it when I go out to the club. It is available in a plethora of flavours and without shimmer if that's not your thing.
2)  FAST shampoo - Available at Trade Secrets.  Contains herbs and amino acids to make your hair grow super fast, since we kill our hair with the dryer and straightener and that damage can prevent your hair from growing at full speed.
3)  CAKE satin sugar hair and body powder - This is an amazing alternative to baby powder in your hair when it is a little greasy or you've been dancing hard all night.  Throw a little of this on your roots and your hair will look like you just washed it and smell fantastic.  I personally don't recommend use on your body.
4)  PERFUME SAMPLES - Any brand you like in a smaller form will be handy in your clutch when you go out for the night.
5)  MAC  Concealer pot and studio fix are AMAZING.  Studio fix gets rid of shine where the cover up is amazing for under the eyes when you look tired.


And now some pictures from my night out!  I got dressed for the day time then decided to go out last minute so my outfit is pretty plain -  I would have definitely added some colour to my outfit, plus my sweaterdress ended up being super hot!

The Chanel Cruise line combined with the nicer weather has inspired me to dress with a nautical influence.   I chose a dress I picked up at Mango a while back and paired it with a cardigan, some knee high socks (of course) and some comfortable, lower white heels.  Just a quick post; heading to work!

 

In my bedroom!  I hate the carpet so much but my mom insists we keep it.  Sigh!

Bathroom!  Sitting on the floor was basically the only way to get a full outfit shot with my Macbook!

I have had these white tights for a long while and haven't worn them, but I can think of a million things to do with them.  Black tights are more of a winter look and since I wear a lot of dark colours the white can really help my wardrobe be ready for spring, along with bright accessories.
I'm ready to head out the door to work but thinking of picking up a bag to brighten up my outfit.

Rugby games are where I first learned my appreciation for knee socks.  I took a look at my hideous black and red rugby uniform I wore in grade nine and remember thinking to myself that at least the socks could be fashion.

I went to a game today at my old high school.  I have not been there in five years, and not one thing has changed.  We are still creaming the rival catholic high school and our girls still play hard.

Here are a few shots from the game!

New bag!!  I got a different one in a lilac, this one is a light pink.  I am not supposed to be shopping because I have to make car payments but they were at a unique designer boutique in a small town for around 40$ each and I fell in love!  They are nice bright colours for spring.

The rugby game.  The girl in the teal sweater has her hands over her head because she knows she's going to lose to my team in the black and the red.  The score at this point is 22-0.

He used to play football for the same team my high school is destroying at rugby!  Na na na na na na.

His sunglasses are RayBan, mine are Ralph Lauren.  

Knee socks galore... our awesome kicker about to widen the gap between their 0 and our grand total of 34 or so points by the end of the game :)

Well the weather is getting better and I'm counting the days until bare legs.  I cut these shorts myself out of an old pair of Guess jeans that ripped.  Found this headband today for 6$ and thought it was cute.  Just a quick outfit post!  Last night at the club it was packed and I made awesome money.  I'm going to save for a couple weeks and if my car keeps holding out hopefully I can get some good shopping done.  I still have tons of outfits I hope to showcase but I need to get the good camera out, these are phone pictures!  Enjoy!  Sorry about the blurry quality.  I'm going to do an outdoors shoot tomorrow with a few different outfits to post and a WAY BETTER CAMERA!!!!
I'm buying a new car so that takes priority over the camera.  I have one to borrow for now and by my birthday (July 2nd -- )  I will be an experienced photographer/blogger with my own SLR!

In this last outfit picture I am just waking up!  No makeup and bedhead :)

New headband!!  I saw one I adore on the Queens Wardrobe website.  They have some great stuff!!!  This headband was only 6$, instead of the 35$ I was going to spend ordering one.  I am still lusting over their version of the Chanel two five-five.  It is much more affordable and I think it would look great with this outfit!

My last item was a pair of H&M shoes, as seen on this post.  I got the shoessss a couple weeks ago after months of hunting.  I saw them on a display model on a poster and had to visit about 30 locations before I finally found them hiding on a shelf in downtown Toronto!  One size left that fit me... it was meant to be.  Look forward to seeing them in an outfit post coming soon!   They are gorgeous.
