I know I said I would do a winter post but I just got back from a vacation in California so I thought I would just share a few tease photos.
My girlfriend is going to upload pictures from her camera tonight so I will do another post for you tomorrow!
So sorry I have been M.I.A. my loves.  What with my thesis, finishing school, and sneaking off for a vacation, I really have been neglecting my poor little blog.
The good news is that I did so much shopping in California that I was literally holding two pairs of shoes in my hand on the way home while wearing a pair that I bought because they just wouldn't fit in my shoes.
Got a D.K.N.Y. bag that is to die for and tons of other goodies!

September is such a busy month for me!  On the go all the time.

I am still managing to have some fun on top of my work and school.  My girlfriends and I never run out of new exciting things to do!

Time to get busy writing my thesis.  It is about fashion though so anything I find interesting during my studies I will share with you.  Stay tuned for fashion week highlights too!

School has started again and getting to my two classes is an absolute disaster.  The school support staff is on strike and they are blocking the entrances to my school.
I am slowly transitioning from school to work.  I am almost finished and can not wait to start my career.  Here are some photos from the last week!  Work and school, work and school.

This weekend was a themed event at my work, Candy land!
I have so much fun while I'm working and in one week I will be going back to school to finish up.  I am also looking for an internship during this time.  There are going to be some positive changes in my life soon and I am so excited to start my career.

My girlfriend Kristen made her own tutu by taking a piece of ribbon and tying mesh pieces to it!  Her outfit was amazing.  I cut the length of my dress to make it shorter and then tied the extra material to my arm as a bracelet.  Two great DIY ideas!

Epic Wednesdays are becoming a tradition for me, I really need a day job soon.
Here is what I learned on Wednesday...

1)  Every single beach in the area surrounding your house will have shops to purchase a bikini except for the one time that you go to a beach you have never been to before and do not bring one, then there will be no shop and you will be stuck wearing either your bra and underwear or your LBD from the night before.

2)  Nothing goes better with your LBD than a pair of bowling shoes with sexy neon shoe laces.  These shoes will also have extremely slippery soles which will make dancing to the club music at 3am in your bowling lane even more enjoyable and appropriate.

3)  If you are ambidextrous, feel free to throw two bowling balls towards your bowling pins at the same time.  It will only count as one turn and you have double the chances of getting a strike.

4)  If you live in the Toronto area, Kipling/Dundas has a 24 hour bowling alley and on the weekends it is glow in the dark.  You're welcome.  

5)  The drinking age should really be changed to 21.  Here in Canada it is 19, and these 90's babies are making bars and clubs a disaster to be in.

6)  The last rule also applies to driving.  And to be honest, I'm not just saying this because the rule would not apply to me, it should have applied to me because I was a scary 16-year-old driver and now I think I'm pretty darn good.

7)  That much ice cream is always a good idea, unless you're lactose intolerant.

8)  Being a hot mess is only a good idea sometimes.

9)  Gorgeous girlfriends are creeper magnets.  If you don't want to get hit on, try to tone down the skin and gorgeousness when you go out.

Weekends always seem to be crazier when the moon is full. 
Today is Monday and that means I have until Friday off, it is time to think about school and where I would like to do an internship.  I am really stuck between starting my career in either music or fashion, my true loves.  To work for a music company like Warner or MTV would be an amazing opportunity but my heart is set on fashion and writing... I would really love to do an internship at a fashion magazine.  I am putting together my application and portfolio right now!  I feel like I will never be happy enough with it to send it in.  I just really need to sit down and focus!
I have lots of treats for you guys coming up soon...FALL TREND UPDATES, runway highlights, an outfit post where (surprise) I'm not wearing black; I have a lot of cute colourful outfits to share with you before the summer ends and we are back to fall neutrals.  I am loving the crimson tones for this upcoming season as well!

Summer lovin'

Can not believe it is August already!  I am in love with the summer, it always makes me sad when it is down to the last month or so.  No time to waste!
Related news:  I am officially a beach bum!  I have been to every beach in the area (pretty much) and still no tan to brag about. 
I have met a lot of really cool people this summer and spent time with old friends too.
Campfires, beach, clubs, hikes, long walks, patios, shopping (there's a sweet outdoor mall around here called Don Mills), road trips, traveling... what are your favourite things to do in the summer?
