More birthday fun

It was my friend Kristen's birthday tonight so I went out with some friends to celebrate!
Working at the club all weekend, however I will do a fall trends post and maybe some runway photos to get you inspired.
Even though I was not drinking tonight I managed to spill a little bit on myself, which you can notice in a few of the photos.  I should have expected this when earlier at home I had to change from the first outfit I put together because I spilled a ginger ale on myself while I was getting ready to go out.  It just wasn't my smoothest day, except I had a lot of fun tonight!  Here are some photos.

My weekend was spent AT THE CLUB "working" (not too hard), lots of fun!  This week is going to be all about scoping out internship opportunities and developing a career path.  I only have a little bit of school left and then I want to get serious about working in fashion and communications!  I also have a lot of blogging planned.  I received a lot of clothing and jewelry for my birthday and I can't wait to share them with you!  Just a few photos from the last week for you!

SO ridiculous when girls go out of their way to hate you just because their boyfriends like you or have liked you in the past.  I would think that you might want to blame your shady significant other instead of the girl he tries to get with.

I have fun doing my job and I love most girls who are confident and can show some maturity and class, it just sucks when those who do not possess these traits go out of their way to bring you down.  I just want to avoid the drama!  Some people don't realize that when you work in a club environment the security is there for you and if someone gets in your way or disrespects you they can be removed immediately!  I had to have a girl removed from my work because she heard I worked there and came in to cause trouble and it was not the first time, you think she would have learned her lesson.  Oh well!  I had a lot of fun and met a ton of great people and look forward to going back next weekend.

I have been applying for other more serious jobs in the fashion world!  Wish me luck everyone!

I went to the beach yesterday with one of my besties which was super relaxing!  I work tonight and tomorrow night as a bottle service girl.  That is the one job in the service industry I have not tried yet so it's pretty exciting!  Since I have the whole week free I will be looking for a career job soon.  I am 24 now and basically old enough to get out of the service industry!  Hopefully this new club will be fun it is a social club with a mature crowd.  Tonight I am wearing a black dress with blood red stilettos!  Stay tuned for pictures and don't forget to check out my last post with trend updates, more soon!  

Jen and I had a great time in Wasaga.  We laid on the beach, walked around and I handed out some promo flyers for the club... a lot of people seem really interested!

Beautiful weather here in Toronto!  I am loving my summer.  I got a weekends only job doing bottle service at a swanky upscale chic sexy nightclub and I think it is going to be a lot of fun!  This way I can focus more on doing my blog during the week as well as looking for jobs in my field of PR & Communications.

Neon has made a huge comeback since my preteen years (back in the 90's) when everyone wanted to dress like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.  These bright hughes are huge this summer!  I am on a hunt for something in yellow, hopefully something similar to this gorgeous piece by Elise Overland.

I have always loved pink and this shade is stunning!  This dress by Jason Wu shows three other great trends, cutouts, maxi length skirting as well as sheer overlay.  Photo via Imaxtree.

Can't forget colour blocking!  I am on the hunt for something yellow and I love this whole outfit by Nina Ricci.  I would wear every piece especially the gorgeous high waisted skirt.  The bow detail on the top really adds perfect detail to finish the look.  Photo via Imaxtree.

Patterns are huge right now!  More trends to try:  Tribal prints & crop tops are super cute if worn properly.  Coming soon to a post near you.  Here is a great clutch I am lusting over by Jimmy Choo, it combines neon with a gorgeous leopard pattern!

I am loving the cigarette-hole and crochet effect for summer.   It is easier to layer on your knits when it is cool and breezy at night and it gives and edgy sophisticated look.  Today's outfit is brought to you by a gorgeous skirt I picked up at BCBG that features tiny cigarette-hole detailing that I am in love with!  The skirt is super soft and a pale, nude colour.  So many outfits planned for this baby!  Here are some photos of my outfit for today.

What do you think?  Shirt tucked in or out?  I am wearing my mother's vintage clock necklace and a stack of bracelets I grabbed randomly before heading outside.  The skirt was down from $220 to $50!
