In this great future,
You can't forget your past...
So dry your tears, I say
No woman no cry...

Well my lovely fashionistas I am off to the Dominican Republic for a week! I will leave you with my most recent beach photos in Grand Bend and will be updating next weekend. I've done quite a few posts this month hope you check them all out while I am gone!
My ridiculously pasty legs! This will change when I get back from the Dominican. My feet are starting to heal but you can see how swollen and blistered they are from working so much in heels.
Why horse around when you can lion around?!
Wearing:
Dress - Spoof
Bikini - La Vie En Rose
Flip Flops - Old Navy
Sunglasses - Guess
I am loving the new Cruise 2012 lines that have been coming out. I decided to collect a few photos of my favourite designers from style.com and post some inspiration for tropical destination outfits and for the warmer weather. I will have to take my phone with me to make sure I catch all the new shows, some of my favourites are yet to come. Vacation pictures will be up when I get back! So excited!!!
Louis Vuitton
They went with a funky, edgy biker theme with lace and leather, nautical colours and some super high footwear! I love the results.
Perfection in the details!
Everything from the bows on each layer of the shoe to the subtle addition of patterns and accessories from goggle-shaped eyewear to anklets and gloves.
Helmets are a cute touch!
Gucci
Often my favourite, this line was more neutral, minimal and structured with only hints of bright colours and accents of yellow and gold. Very elegant, classic and chic.
I want ALL the shoes from this collection!!!!!! I am also having the first craving in my entire life to wear yellow.
All the photos I chose to share with you are of one of my favourite models, Kasia Struss. I love her defined face and Barbie-like features! She looks stunning in absolutely anything.
Runway photos from style.com.
Have a great week my loves!

Summertime adventures
These lies and deceptions
Only affecting us in a negative way, wrong direction
Starting to fade away our connection
Will we ever find a way to progress
And live life for each second
Without second guessin'
It is great to actually have a weekend and not dedicate it to just working!
The weather here was so gorgeous except that it can change in a second; you often end up wearing two outfits in one day or having to layer like crazy. It does not help my laundry pile.
Last night I went to a barbeque at my girlfriend's house, my brother came along with some of my close friends. This morning when I went for brunch with my girlfriend her car battery died, we got it boosted and then it died again. One trip to Canadian Tire and a lot of cash later she had a brand new battery and we headed back to my place. Once there she locked her keys in her car. It was actually quite a fun day aside from the mishaps! It was so beautiful outside I am starting to get a tan.
Without further ramblings I will show you some outfit pictures from the past days!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and having a great weekend.
My shoes are missing in the pictures but they are brown ankle combat-style open toe boots!

The cat's meow
Didn't I give it all?
Tried my best,
Gave you everything I had,
Everything and no less,
Didn't I do it right?
Did I let you down?
-ADELE -- TAKE IT ALL
I am loving the cat eye & goggle glasses/sunglasses on the Spring 2011 runway (Prada, Tom Ford, Norma Kamali, Dior, etc.) Unfortunately I had myself convinced that square was the only shape that would work in sunglasses for my face. I had a bad day today and I stopped in a Guess outlet to cheer myself up and I snagged these for $34. What do you think?
Sunglasses - Guess $34
Grandma sweater - Winners $10
Basic T-shirt - H&M $6
Bag - Louis Vuitton

New trend I am loving: TRIBAL PRINTS! I will let you know how I do with it and stay tuned with an outfit with colour-blocking I am determined to get at least one outfit right!

You're the thunder to my lightening
The magic of first love is oblivious and ignorant to reality.
The magic of friendship is genuine and surpasses superficiality.
Regardless I put in a lot of hours at the restaurant and I have been having a lot of fun working there. The whole staff is amazing and I am meeting a lot of great people. It is great to have two days off to relax because my whole body and my mind are exhausted! Yesterday I dropped three side plates on the floor in the middle of the restaurant and they shattered everywhere. I am not known to drop things (at work) so I was a little bit embarassed to say the least especially since everyone in the whole place went silent and looked at me. At least I have a great support team and people were already leaning over to pick up the pieces and someone had gone to get the broom. It is such a better experience at work when it is a team environment and people are there to love and support each other not compete or bring each other down.
I am on my way over to my girlfriend's house, we had quite a crazy incident a couple weekends ago and it left her feeling a little bit hurt and confused. I am going to bring her flowers and hopefully cheer her up!
Speaking of flowers I have been loving them so much this season. My brother and dad both brought me a flower back from Hawaii with a hair clip so I love to spice up boring outfits with them!
Today I decided to go with a floral skirt theme and here are the results.
Overload of pics since I was practicing with my rebel!
Being silly!
Flower hair clips from Hawaii!
Gifts from my Dad & brother.
Skirt - Urban
Tube top - Suzy
Bag - Random boutique
Key necklace - Tiffany's
Pearl necklace - Gift
Pearl bracelet - Gift
Floral bracelet - Gift from Hawaii

Thirsty Thursdays and I have the night off. Hmmm....
