Red Carpet Fashion - The Grammys

I love red carpet events mostly for the fashion.
I can't wait until I can start my career and maybe attend these events in person!
Here are a few of my favourite looks.
Heidi Klum in Emilio Pucci, my personal favourite

Lea Michele in Romona Reveza

Marissa Miller looking effortlessly flawless

Miley Cyrus in Herve Leger by Max Azria

Fergie in Emilio Pucci

Now it's time to move onto...

Britney Spears seems to have gone with a trashier, non-fashionable version of the outfit she wore while kissing Madonna. Taylor swift took the blue-is-in and so-are-sequens advice a little too far. Beyonce only gets half a failure because the dress is kind of cute, just does absolutely nothing for her frame. Katy Perry gets worst dressed, and Ke$ha really should stop brushing her teeth with Jack Daniels.

I'm not sure what to make of these next two, MOST UNIQUE AWARDS go to Lady GaGa (of course) and Rihanna. What do you think of these two ensembles?

Lady GaGa in Custom Armani Prive dress, and what I can only assume to be Alexander McQueen shoes

Rihanna in Elie Saab

Bartender in Action

A couple pictures of me at work...
I try to wear clothes that are un-ruinable if I spill Yager on them.

Leggings, TNA
Boots, Sirens

Being poured:
Crispy Crunch shot... 1/2 oz Frangelico 1/2 oz Creme de Cacao

Pornstar - Blue Caracao, Raspberry Sourpuss, Vodka, Sprite

Summertime, and the Livin's Easy...

The title is irony, of course.
I'm stuck in 2 feet of snow and wishing desperately I did not live in Canada.
Here are a few more vacation pictures from warmer days.

U.S. Virgin Islands

Black tubetop dress, Le Chateau
Sunglasses, Gucci
Headband, Claire's
Flip flops, white shorts - Old Navy
Pink bikini, Aqua by La Vie en Rose

Take Me Away

On a day like today where it's -17 degrees Celsius, BEFORE the windchill, I am reminiscing on a cruise I took a few summers ago. Here is an outfit picture, although it is old, I will dig up some more outfit pictures from the cruise and post them as well. Winter, GO AWAY!

Bahamas, 2007
Skirt, top & baithingsuit, Guess. Bag, Coach. Sunglasses, Gucci. Necklace, Vintage.

Me standing on the balcony on the ship! How I wish I was there right now :)

Style Icon - Madonna

I was born right smack in the middle of her booming career,
Madonna is THE ultimate femme fatale who has influenced music, women, and sexuality drastically throughout her many changing looks.
Lady GaGa and Britney Spears - what would they be without Madonna?
I am not saying that I adore her style, or that you should either, but her lasting impact on fashion cannot be argued.
Here are some of my favourite looks who have had a lasting impact on the fashion industry throughout since her career began in the mid 80's.
Pictures are arranged in chronological order. (to the best of my knowledge)

Knock My Socks Off

I have an unhealthy obsession with socks and tights.
These ones are too beautiful not to share.

Tights, Chanel

Spring RTW - Versace

This line seems to pull classic and recent trends together in a wearable way.
I'm loving the pastels, metallic hues, paired with softer whites and neutrals.
I've already posted some of my favourites from the Dior, Burberry, and Chanel runways, but I couldn't leave Versace out this season. AMAZING. <3

Sidenote: The Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs lines are hideous. What is everyones opinion on the Marc Jacobs influence on the Louis Vuitton brand?
